Help with Slack notifications
The connection starts inside your SLSBMB workspace. You choose the Slack channel before any workspace notifications are enabled.

Connect a channel
- Sign in to SLSBMB, select your workspace and open Settings.
- Under Messenger notifications, choose Slack, then Connect Slack.
- Select the Slack workspace and channel. You may need a Slack workspace administrator to approve the app.
- Allow the connection, return to SLSBMB and choose Confirm connection.
- Open the connected Slack card and use Send test. Check the same channel in Slack.
The connection belongs to your account in that SLSBMB workspace. Connecting another workspace or another person's account does not change yours.
Choose alerts and digests
Open the Slack card, select the reply categories and campaign updates you want, then Save preferences. Interested replies, referrals and negative replies have separate labels. Email previews remain off unless you turn them on.
For a digest, select Daily or Weekly, choose the local time and timezone, and select your figures. Weekly digests also have a weekday setting. Preview saved digest shows what your saved settings will produce. The first digest follows the next scheduled time; connecting does not replay old alerts.
If a message does not arrive
- Check the channel selected on the Slack card and whether notifications are paused.
- Pending means the notification is queued. A Slack rate limit can delay it.
- Reconnect needed means the destination or permission is no longer usable. Choose Reconnect and authorize the channel again.
- Unconfirmed means Slack may have received the message but SLSBMB did not get a definite response. Check the channel before choosing to retry: a retry can create a duplicate.
Pause, change channel or disconnect
Turn on Pause notifications and save to stop delivery while keeping the connection. To choose another channel, use Reconnect and confirm the new destination.
Disconnect removes the connection and its pending delivery records from SLSBMB. It leaves your source emails and campaigns intact, and it does not delete messages already in Slack. Remove SLSBMB Sender from Slack's app settings if you also want to revoke its Slack authorization.
